- Also check if you have an S3 graphics card. Those are well-known for causing
- comm port overruns. I have a DELL Dimension XPS P-120 with a #9FX-771 graphics
- card, and when I access the 'net with Winsock, I got lots of comm port overruns.

- The latest version of the #9FX driver has an option called Bus-Throttling, that
- if turned on, eliminated my overrun problems, at the small expense of graphics
- speed. Since the software I develop doesn't make heavy use of graphics, this is
- a price I'm willing to pay....for now.
